Gina C. Kleinlein is an Ohio-licensed attorney with more than 26 years of seasoned experience in private practice, large law firms, and judicial service. Beginning her career at prominent law firms, including Jones Day and Thompson Hine LLP, she also gained valuable insight interning with the Supreme Court of Ohio and serving as a staff attorney to a Common Pleas Court judge.
As owner of GK Family Law, Gina represents clients in a variety of family law matters and areas that are an extension of family law. Her background as an attorney at Capital University Law School in the Family Advocacy Clinic gave her unique experience representing victims of domestic violence in obtaining civil protection orders, including drafting petitions, discovery, negotiating consent agreements and attending full evidentiary hearings. She has also served as an attorney in the Domestic Violence and Stalking Unit of the Columbus City Attorney’s Office, as well as in the Domestic Relations and Juvenile Division of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. Here, she worked closely with judges, court personnel and victims’ advocates to provide a variety of services to domestic violence victims.
Gina also has an extensive background in real estate title experience as a former partner and co-owner of Stella Title Agency, Inc., where she handled complex title examinations and closings. Gina is passionate about helping clients navigate challenging legal situations with clarity, confidence, and strong advocacy. She values building trust through relationships, providing realistic solutions, and making the journey more manageable and less stressful.
Outside of the office, Gina’s most rewarding experience is being a mother to her two wonderful daughters, Stella, 22, and Layla, 20. More than anything, she loves to travel—experiencing different cultures, places, and people through food, drinks, family, friends, and fun.
